Two!

Happy Birthday to our big Gummy Bear. He's 2 years old! (This was back in September.)

He opened one present and then lost interest. His sisters were more than happy to help him!
To avoid Gummy's reaching fingers and clawing hands, we kept the cake at a safe distance as his sisters blew out the candles for him. Maybe next year you'll get to blow out your candles, Gummy. We just don't trust you that much right now!

Pirates!

Every year, pirates invade Alexandria Bay, NY for a couple of weeks. We invested in some eye patches and pirate hats and had ourselves a rockin' good time!

After visiting the shopping area, we went to the park. It has lots of fun playground equipment and a swim area (which we didn't use, but a lot of other people splashed around in it). There's also a pavilion where the pirates land and invade, but we got there just a few minutes late. Shucks!

Miss Cinnamon's 4th Birthday

Cinnamon Bear turned 4 in August. It's been awhile, but I finally got the pics from her birthday posted for your viewing pleasure.
Papa was elated to help Cinnamon hold the candy she got for her birthday. ("Oh, you're giving me your candy? Thank you, Cinnamon!")

It was a Dora birthday--everything Dora. Cinnamon was soooooo happy!
Have you ever seen such excitement? The gift: a Dora backpack that sings and talks and even has a map and a compass (and some other stuff, too). Happy birthday girl!

The Burrville Cider Mill

The Burrville Cider Mill is located a few miles outside of Watertown, NY. We visited there in October, just in time for apple season. They have the best apple cider in the region, and you can venture down to the lower level to see them actually make the cider with a real cider press. Gummy and Cinnamon thought the cider slushy was lip-smackin' good!

There's a waterfall in back of the Cider Mill. Nice photo op! (Picture of Mama and Papa was taken by our very talented Panda Bear.)

If you'd like more information on this historic mill, visit their website:

Dapper Dandy

Ah, yes. Our handsome little boy. This outfit is courtesy of Grandma. (He should be a model!)
