Cinnamon Bear went on her first pony ride (miniature pony).
Panda Bear showed her sister how it's done. She's ridden quite a few horses and wants to take riding lessons now that she's 8-years-old.
The farm is closed for the winter and just opened again in May. They had quite a few baby animals, including these cute little piglets (2 weeks old).
The girls were scared at first to feed the animals. I taught them to feed them with their hands flat so they didn't have to worry about their fingers getting nipped.
Signs instructed us to grab the grass from the ground and feed it to the Alpacas. The girls loved this and didn't want to stop!
We got to meet Humphry, the one-hump camel. At the time, he was resting next to the fence. Almost swatted a bucket of water at us with his strong tail!
This peacock was showing off for the ladies, although the peahens raced out the door into the yard. I guess they didn't think much of his puffed-upedness!
As part of the admission, we got to go on a hayride. (You can also take the dairy tour for $2 per adult, kids free. We didn't go on the tour this time.) We grabbed buckets of hay and were also given some stale bread to feed the animals with. There was a very gentle bull. He was huge. The cows couldn't even reach the food. The girls didn't really want to feed the bull. I totally understood. He had some very healthy, huge teeth.
The theme of the hayride was "The Wizard of Oz." We saw Dorothy and other characters from the movie. Here's the wicked witch!

This is what Baby Bear did the whole time we were at the farm.
Goat food was 50 cents for a cup. Feed consisted of popcorn and food pellets. Since the girls were scared to feed the goats, I suggested holding out the cup instead of holding the food in their hands. Wrong advice, Mama! The big, black male goat just took the whole cup out of Panda's hand and guzzled the contents down, tossing the cup aside in the holding pen.
Cinnamon Bear gave me a fright by doing a disappearing act. I found her in the bounce house. She and Panda loved going down the slide.
There's a miniature golf course near the entrance. It includes a cute little pond and water wheel, complete with geese. Gummy thought these guys were pretty fun (although he wasn't too happy about the goats).
We ate lunch at the farm's little cafe, finishing our visit off with ice cream cones. Afterwards, we drove by Lake Ontario and Sackets Harbor to look at the gorgeous blue water and boats on the docks.
